Company History
Grindleton Brewhouse Ltd started brewing traditional Hand Crafted Real Ale just outside the picturesque village of Grindleton in the Ribble Valley Lancashire in March 2007 on a 5 BBL brewery puchased from Wylam Brewery in Northumberland.
In June 2007 we moved to a new pupose built brewery in Clitheroe Lancashire and extended our production capacity by increasing our fermenters to five 5bl stainless vessels and our conditioning tanks to ten 5bl stainless vessels.
In November 2007 we have again increased our capacity by the addition of a further 5bl fermenter and four 10bl conditioning tanks purchased from Hawkshead Brewery.
This brings our current production capacity to 30 barrels per week (120 x 9gal casks) and our storage/conditioning capacity to 90 barrels (26 000 pints).
